Learn how to relax!

Stress is one of the principal causes of illness today. Modern lives are full of professional and personal commitments which create extreme stress. In addition, constant availability caused by mobile devices and also the need to succeed add to this situation and create an unbelievable strain on our body and mind. Some find they also cannot relax from this situation at night, causing a long term build-up of stress. We have to relearn how to relax and how to listen to our body to guarantee we do all we can to prevent illness.

The human body has the ability to recover. Help it along by identifying the stress areas in your life, and handle it better through mental and body relaxation techniques. These include breathing techniques, Progressive Muscle Relaxation (Jacobson), Meditation, Autogenic Training, body scan and phantasy/imaginary journeys.
